The Legacy of the Under World
Come, join us in our negative bliss..
"Who is this, without death, can journey through the kingdom of the dead?" -
“Forget your fear, no one can hinder our passage, for I will not abandon you in this low world.
..And now, already well within that gate- descends the one who will unlock this realm for us.”
~ * Dante’s Inferno
This is the realm of Twilight, the place where mysteries unfold. The guardians yield to us their treasures, and we weave the magic of the Other World. Beware when coming here for you must cross the gate of time. Once you arrive, your soul will remain and a guardian you'll be, in service to the King and Queen, spanning one times seven years.
A guardian is one with the soul of the land, and the bridge, the balance and the voice that reaches out through time. And when the terror in the night transforms, it reveals the beautiful Underworld.
Here the predominant dimension is one where the Other World reigns supreme. It has brought new life to the legends of the Nether realms, and this is now reality.
An awesome world of witches, vampires & wizards; spirits, goblins, gods and the true magic of enchantment.
If you think I jest you'd better move along, for the truth of this place runs through my veins and is verified by my tongue. I am a guardian, not only do I tell the tale & carry the voices but I also protect this, which is my ancient land.
If you care to cross the bridge then please stay a while and we bid you welcome! Our hope is that you may gain some understanding as you roam these halls of death and feel the comfort of the shadows safely as our guest.
In this place where nightmares are real and fairy tales true, night is day, death begets new beginnings and life brings with it the end, such things there are & that I have seen, that you my friend would never believe...
Open your heart, enter the dark and a guardian will await you there...
NOTE: This was all written so long ago. I had also changed many things herein -taking out the vampiric side; the wording,
for it was a different time. So yes, it does apply and imply the realm of the vampire as well)
And today is a different time- and now to come out with it all-in time
I will sometime have to rewrite this entire site, as the information needs some updating. This was released in 2000.

Introduction
"The Under World Journey"; By & copyright Jyade C.
..'Magic/k' has become completely misappropriated by association.
It has been reduced to its most pathetic form by the whimsical delusions & contempt of the mislead modern practitioners, thereby losing its true power & leading us away from our ancient legacy..” ~Jyade, from ‘The Legacy.’
This page will serve as a very brief introduction to the realm of the Underworld in order to give you some general information on the subjects of death, necromancy and the Underworld. This is actually the most important as well as the most interesting part on the journey into the secrets of the black arts, for this is the place where we enter their (Spirits, guardians, gods) realm and meet them face to face, and where some of us become one of them.. or perhaps is it that we now remember who we really are, and from whence we came- the painful echo of long forgotten memories, our legacy.
This is the heart of our story.
I tell the tale that has been silenced for so long and has fallen only upon deaf ears.
I am the voice, the heart and the soul within the Winter Wind.
Once you enter here, there are many initiations to be undergone. This stage is very different from the first part, which is black magic itself. Black magic initially is terrifying because of the breakdowns that occur, and the madness that almost always occurs with it. This is past madness and terror. The devastation of this realm is all together different. Here we become trapped within the ice, but if you are strong and survive, you will be told as well as shown things you would not think possible. This is the realm of death, for you must die in order to gain entrance. If you are a true seeker of the mysteries of life, then the land of death awaits you...
Note: The initiations are quite literally carried out by the beings of this realm & not by humans!
I cannot emphasis this enough.
"One who passes uninitiated into the Underworld will be unable to rise from the mire,
but one whose soul is pure will rise to dwell with the Gods" ~ * Plato
A very true passage I encountered, very true. Uncanny.
One of the first transitions encountered after you enter the Underworld is akin to that of a vampire,
It is also the most disturbing initially because it is a complete and unfamiliar change.
The vampire as discussed in this section is relative to living persons versus the reanimated corpse.
The person dies in many ways, and the foremost is that a part of his soul or spirit leaves the body and stays in the Under World. Words do not give this state any justice, for it is a most unpleasant state of existence, at least until you become accustomed to it and still it will never resemble your former life.
You are truly empty and quite dead. Disease and other such breakdowns also occur.
Blood figures prominently in the legends of the vampire and in reality this is also true, but the difference being that it is our own blood that is an issue. It could for others be another condition, we are all different.
We who enter gave a gift or sacrifice to the guardian of the death-way of our own blood, which in turn causes the blood within our body to change.
(If you are chosen, then you will have a TRUE awakening of the blood! Yes, an edit here: Not many if any people today know what a true, occult- awakening of there blood is anymore and this is just a glimpse of it- I think this is a tragedy. 2015)
This is what generates the vampiric condition- or the awakening of the blood.
There is a chemical change that occurs and has been called by some the awakening of the blood. This is how the information will initially be passed. Trying to medically correct this condition is waste of time and money and more unneeded pain.
Again, I can attest to that personally. Being "undead" is only the beginning…
The path to and through the Underworld is a battle. The journey takes many years and it's filled with uncertainties and danger, hardships, challenges - inner, outer and inter dimensional, all of which require endurance, courage, and perseverance, and from these ordeals are the legendary mead of inspiration and wisdom gained. There is also the mission of re-enchantment and service is required (there is more to that, but I will cover it in another book). Here you will also learn that magic is a condition (of being) and has very little to do with casting spells.
By crossing the gate of time, one has earned the ability to interact within their dimension, communicate with the dead, the ancestors, spirits, demons, guardians, other beings and gods. This path is one that celebrates Darkness, death, the ancestors and the true spirit of the universe; it also requires service to the Dark Trinity, the Underworld and its rulers. When one enlists into the military they are then referred to as a solider, this is no different. Your life no longer seems to be your own, and things are expected of you. The only true difference is this; there are no discharges, honorable or otherwise. To leave is to die, once you have come this far. The undead is one who has gained entrance into the Underworld, and has come to terms (but not fully) with his death, and has begun his apprenticeship as a Black Mystic.
The Underworld
"Under World Initiation 2"-by & copyright Jyade C.
"But with swarms of specters rose from deepest hell, With bloodless visage and with hideous yell.
They scream, they shriek, and groans and dismal sounds. Stun my scared ears and pierce hell’s utmost bounds."
~ * from Homers Odyssey
Hell is none other than the Christianized version of the pagan Underworld and pre dates Christianity. The idea was based on the Greek Hades, which was actually a diversified place. All actions associated with death and darkness point down, and so eventually it was thought that god, heaven and eternal life were up or away from us .
The Underworld is a mystical place of transformation and power and those who are yet living may gain this knowledge. Because of this, it's true purpose and power have been concealed and lost over the centuries by the destroyer patriarchal religions as well as society and tradition.
If we retrieve the lore of this forgotten place, we will eventually destroy the destroyer and replace Leviathan on her rightful throne. Leviathan, also known as Tiamat or Chaos, represents the Void, creation and the Divine. The art of necromancy is one that will eventually lead us to the Underworld.
This is the shadow realm of in-betweenness. On one side we have the realm of the living, on the other side is the kingdom of Chaos and the Divine. The Underworld is our contact point. This is why the texts of old warned that necromancy was the most dangerous of the magical arts. Gaining this sort of access and wisdom comes with a price. However, not all who seek will find the key to open the door.
Powers of Darkness & Spirits of Death
"The Magician" by & copyright Jyade C. 2000
Will you follow me into the land of death
Unleash the ecstasy and breathe your final breath
Set your soul free and you will ride the rushing wind
Join the wild hunt, live the legacy
Come with the demon horde to where the spirits roam
Hell will be your only home and Death your greatest friend
If you truly want to live, you must kill your mortal soul
And should you lose your mind in this poison sea,
Remember your treading on unhallowed ground,
The forgotten path into the black unknown
Fear clenches at your throat and the darkness begins to suffocate
Leaving you to your doom
You find it hard to breathe; now you can never leave.
Struggle with it no longer, simply breath the poison breath
Prisms of chaos shower me and I emanate the blackness of my world
Phosphorescent shadow, more alive than dead, and deader than the dead.
The paradox of nothing, while everything tortures me
The middle ground of in-between, trapped beyond duality
Copyright 2001 Jyade Cythrawl
Death also means transition and leads us to transformation. It is only by opposing this transition that death and death energy becomes debilitating and its guardians horrifying. The guardians of this realm will teach us that change is necessary and we need not fear the dark. When our fears dissipate we gain understanding, which must happen before we can gain any wisdom. You needn’t fear moving beneath the earth, for death is not dying, it is rebirth. When the storm fades the gentle Darkness will finally allow you to hear your own voice. Only death can teach us the wisdom of life. The destruction of black magic and going through the death process may leave you awe struck, or it will leave you traumatized. Perhaps both. The destruction is meant to free us, but we may decide to live in the wreckage, agonize over the loss and remain trapped and miserable by choice.

Necromancy
"Under World Guardian" By Jyade C. copyright 2000
"O friend & companion of night,
Thou who rejoicest in the baying of hounds & spilt blood.." *
Necromancy is many things to many people. I will not get to involved in its explanations at this time, but I will relate an approximate idea of what it’s all about.
Necromancers deal with the dead, death and the Underworld. This path focuses on the ancestors, of which pre-christian myth and legend tells us are the spirits of this world. There is a fine line in defining who the ancestors are, they are the Other World beings which Celtic mythology describes as the faery race, they are also the Demons, angels and the human dead, all of which keep the lore, traditions and knowledge that have been lost to us.
The rites, attitudes, observances, etc., that most people usually reserve for Samhain are the ways of the necromancer (and Vampire consequently) on a daily basis. Such as: a time to celebrate and honor the spirit of Darkness, Chaos and Death; a time of 'in-between', of returning to the ancient Chaos; access to and from the Other Worlds; communicating with night, death and the spirits of the realm.
The grave/yard is a portal to the Underworld, and this is the place where we can access the secrets of North. North is the place of power, awe, magic, enchantment, Chaos, Darkness, death and the place where we can reconnect with them, or eventually become one of them. (Most of the time a warning is given before it’s to late - to return) This is the goal, however one can practice necromancy without these things happening, but if your serious you may be granted entrance into their world at some point. However, entrance does not come easy or without a price.
I classify necromancy into two separate paths, although one can prepare the way for the other. Some of the concepts do not divide but the major goal of each is what distinguishes one from the other. The first and most common is traditional necromancy, the other is something I refer to as Underworld necromancy and Vampiric Spirituality. Underworld necromancy is the place where we access the Ancestors, guardians and secrets of death while living. This is a long, hard and treacherous journey.
Necromancers are also divided into two groups, the living and the living dead. The later follows the other system initially but is reserved for those who seek and acquire actual death and transformation within the Underworld while still living.
Impossible you say? If it did not happen to me, I would say the same thing! This journey requires a lot of consideration, dedication and sincerity, for the consequences are irreversible and non negotiable. If you do not persevere once you have gained access, you will become trapped and lost within the Under World. The Darkness will suffocate and claim you in a not so pleasant way.
A common mistake for those approaching traditional necromancy is to confuse summoning spirits with corpse reanimation, where in they have been lead to believe that the corpse will actually rise. This is not so, instead its spirit may appear. Traditional necromancy is where we form our first connections with death. It's not about summoning spirits for material treasure or demanding things from them. It is about intensely wanting to become enraptured in death and it’s energy. However we can contact the ancestors for other relevant information or guidance.
The Celts and Norse would consult the ancestors; in this case the spirits of the dead for divination purposes, such as the out come of battles and other subjects.
A necromancer gains his strength and knowledge of death from his association with its guardians. This is achieved by consistent invocation, ritual, contemplation and communication with the gods and guides of the realm. Spending a lot of time in cemeteries is also helpful, & fun in my opinion. Dedication, respect and sincerity will as always yield the most information and the best results. Traditional necromancy is not limited to ritual alone. It is forming a connection with death, which if pursued (much) further will lead to a state of living death (no picnic I assure you). This means the information, ordeals and state of existence of those who have already physically died is also given to those who yet live...
Certain rites are practiced to gain complete access to the ancestors who reside in the Underworld. In order for this knowledge to pass freely you must get intimately acquainted with death. You cannot cross the threshold of the Underworld unless you are in some manner dead.
This is done by constantly working with the death essence and absorbing it. This journey as well as the process and encounters are not achieved by or the result of meditating or meditation type journeying. This sordid business is for the most part a huge crock of shit! Beware of the pile of new age and Wicca books that will only lead you on a useless meditative journey!!
The black arts have been deemed and are in fact secretive and are kept in the shadows because there are not many people who can handle what it brings them, or are even worthy of having such secrets revealed to them because of inflated egos, malice and overall stupidity.
Death encompasses so much more than physical death…

Death encompasses so much more than physical death…
Azrael
"Azrael"by & copyright Jyade C.
Azrael:
The -very misunderstood- angel of death.
Azrael is a guardian and in my opinion the best guide into the realm of death & the Underworld. He is kind and a loyal companion although he can be stern with us when we are reluctant to move on. He nudged me, ok, he was relentless for me to move on because I was afraid, but he was there on the other side waiting to catch me! He never let me down, never. I can’t speak enough of him!
I learned about the general nature of Azrael on my own, through rituals, solitude and endless nights spent in graveyards. I searched my soul as I began to know him. (He is a main subject in my forthcoming book “Winter Darkness’.) I remember one night while I was outside, not thinking about anything in particular, I felt an overwhelming presence behind me. And then I saw him. (This was not the first time I saw him however, but in this form yes.) He did not appear as the skeletal figure I had always envisioned him as. Rather he was beautiful. He had thick long black hair and he held a resemblance to all of the other angels of special stature. That is not to say that he hasn’t appeared in his
other forms as well over the years. Legend has painted him out to be as monstrous as they view death itself. They fear it and so, they assume the messenger and guardian of such a position as his must be fearful and loathsome. But fear it turns out is the only tormentor here. Azrael turned out to be my greatest friend, and my best guide. He was always there for me, always. He turned out to be the best friend I’ve ever had. The best way to become familiar with death, its deities and guardians is to invoke them for yourself. No amount of reading will make up for actual work. I think one of the most feared guardians is Azrael, the angel of death. As with any energy, you become what you repeatedly invoke, and by becoming immersed in death you will learn the secrets of the Underworld. Death encompasses so much more than physical death. Death is another side of life and there is much to learn here. If you have any reservations about working with death then I recommend that you start off slow when beginning the practice of traditional necromancy and ease yourself into it until you are comfortable to start communicating with the inhabitants of the realm, unless they feel otherwise by whisking you up before you think you are ready, as happened to me! Its only a matter of mental programming, once you lose your initial fear things will change. What was once unknown and frightening becomes familiar and welcome, fear is replaced by understanding, and genuine love.
